These corn flakes crumbs are quick and easy to make. They can also be used in place of the more traditional bread crumbs.
Place 2 cups of corn flakes cereal in a 1 gallon Ziploc bag and seal the bag.
Roll the rolling pin over the bag filled with corn flakes. Roll all of the way to the edge of the bag so that you do not have any large corn flakes left.
Continue until the corn flake crumbs have reached an even and desired consistency. Try not to over-do the rolling pin. You do not want to end up with corn flake powder. Repeat for the remaining 2 cups of corn flakes.
When you are done, place all of the corn flake crumbs in a bowl. You should have about 2 cups of corn flake crumbs.
If you plan to use these corn flake crumbs when baking cookies, pies, or cakes, then do not add the seasonings listed below.
Add the 1-1/2 Tablespoons dried parsley flakes, 2 teaspoons rubbed sage, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, to the bowl of corn flake crumbs. Gently mix everything together.
